Bought the car in October 2009, after 2 weeks of owning it the engine started smoking, but it had just had a reconditioned turbo fitted 2 months earlyer, so i put it to a local gaurage and they found out that the pistons were cracked , so i got them to fit cosworth forged pistons and rings from courtenay sport along with ARP rod bolts, it also had a timing belt kit and water pump done at the same time.

I then done a few exterior changes, fitted gm mudflaps instead of the plain black ones that came fitted, got the wheels powder coated, fitted biistien shocks and eibach springs, painted the calipers and got a new exhaust tip fitted to fill the cut bumper.

i then started doing bits to the engine, i got a cross over pipe and std airbox off a mate, next i got a regal solid boost pipe which i got it and the cross over pipe powder coated grey, got some blue samcos from regal and fitted it all. I wasent over keen how it looked so got the pipe, cross over and top hat powder coated gloss black and got my rocker cover painted gloss black to and ordered the samcos in red which goes better lol.

In the last 2 weeks iv fitted a 100 cell blueflame sports cat, vxr turbo with oil cooling mod, courtenay uprated actuator, cool runnning thermostat, regal inlet cam, courtenay large bore inlet pipe, derestricted air box, courtenay panel filter, ngk spark plugs and iv got vxr injectors and afm to be fitted.

im leaving elgin the day at 4pm to head down to courtenay for the stage 4 remap tomoorow at 9am, it will be about 10 and half hours to get there but hopfuly worth it.

Engine spec will be,
Cosworth forged pistons and rings,
arp conrod bolts,
Vxr turbo with oil cooling mod and courtenay actuator,
Vxr afm,
Vxr injectors,
courtenay fmic,
regal solid boost pipe,
DV36 bailey dump valve,
derestricted air box with large bore inlet and courteny panel filter,
Regal inlet cam,
courtenay cool running thermostat,
miltek pre cat,
Blue flame 100 cell sports cat,
Miltek cat back,
courtenay sport stage 4 remap,

hoping to get 280/290 bhp.

future plans are,

Std rear lights,
smoked side repeaters,
interior retrim,
black center consol.

how it was when i bought it,

the next look that i gave the engine,

then the current one,

Well got the car mapped at courtenay and what a job they had. there was some thing pulling the timing out 11 knocks? they got it half sorted but it ment not realy good figues, 281bhp and 306 torques.

so the plan is to getting the car looking good then 6 speed box with lsd, 3" exhaust, courtenay inlet manifold
