guy is a nutter lol, I get scared being that close to trains when they are hardly moving and I'm paid to work with trains
Not sure about the draft theory, I've been stood right up against the platform edge dispatching trains and when they are going a fair pace... they can get upto about 40mph in my station... don't really feel like you're going to be sucked up, I'd be more worried about a door swinging open personally.

Ive always had a fear of getting run over by a train ever since primary school when they made us watch a video of kids messing about on railways and getting run over!

Thing is though if you look at the trains close up (Virgin / Cross country) there is a big enough gap at the front and all under the train so if you lay down on the track it would just go straight over you...wouldnt want to try it personally though

Bloody hell that was close! What was wrong with standing on the platform and takin the photo? Idiot.

You've got to be at least 4FT from the nearest rail on lines up to 100mph, so you wont get sucked under a train unless you are stupidly close, but you'd probobly be so close that the train would hit you anyway It is pretty windy when one comes past at 100 though!

Closest i've come to being hit was by about 2/3 seconds. Shit my pants.
