theres 2 threads on the first page

It enables you to add free apps, cracked apps, install themes, ringtones etc and unlock depending on phone version. along with a lot more. No the new jailbreak is untethered so you dont lose anything if your phone goes off.

as GF-91 says, if u make a backup and it goes wrong just restore it. If your really scared dont bother

Yeah just back it up on your computer. You had to reboot it off a computer up to about 3 weeks ago when an update came out which enables you to turn it on and off normally.

But if you use Spirit you can turn the phone off and it will not lose the jailbreak, you are referring to blackrain which is crap.

edit; just install installious from cydia and you're away.

It depends which firmware you use blackrain on iirc
