Yeah depending on the compant its a value limit or up to 3.0 i think.

It's just to cover me for doing homers and valets really do they ask you to prove your an actual trader?

Paying £600 to use my own car would rather pay a tad more and have use on my dads van, muma car, dads 944 etc.
Also handy if a mate buys a car and needs it driven home etc.

its not just engine size its the car itself sometimes i once had an row with a place cause they classed a 7 series bmw as a performance car and wouldnt insure it

to get the insurance isnt a mega problem but tradex sent me a big book to fill in everything from yearly turn over to size of my shoes but then others aint so bad

also get a price most will do this with simple details and helps if you have ncb to use not sure about premiums in scotland but i dont know many traders that pay less than 1.3k for taders and they are alot older than me

I phoned up for one just after I turned 21. Cant remeber the company now tho

I got quoted £1.8k, £20k limit on what I could drive. But no imports could be covered. Which was no use because I couldnt put the Scooby on it.

That was me declaring my accident from last year too.

If you manage to get one that covers you without any strange loopholes I'll be amazed.

I can't get one due to the type of cars I work on - the only policy I can get that doesn't have nasty loopholes, doesn't even cover me for the cheapest car I do and is £5k p/a

Footman James mate, You can state your max vehicle stock price i.e. £10,000 max stock. My first policy was £1028 at 23, im now 29 almost and its down to £560.
Three little problems tho, no imprezas, no cosworths or skylines.
It does cover you for bikes upto 600cc tho which is nice lol. Window cover with no excess(was £50 in beginning)
