As title
I'm on a T-Mobile contract, and i'm here on UK soil.
Mrs is on an O2 contract, and is currently in Turkey.
Does it cost ME extra to send a text to HER?
Or does it depend on my contract?

I sent a message to Spain this morning and it cost 10p. I'm guessing it's her that gets charged extra.

So will the text i send just come out of my monthly allowance? The T-Mobile site isnt all that clear tbh.
I may just call or e mail them and ask the question.

Shouldn't cost you any extra. O2 will charge her 4 of her bundled texts for every 1 she sends though

Its against the code (and therefore probably illegal) to charge anyone who is textign a UK number anything other than that which you would for texting them in the UK< on the basis that you text a UK number in goo faith that they are in the country.
Her, on the other hand, can and will be charged for receiving in most cases

It's a UK number, you will be charged the same regardless where it is in the world. She may or nay not be charged to receive the txting depending on the network and their roaming agreement.

probably answered already but cba to read,
usual case is person who is in the uk doesnt get charged to text/call/recieve person outside the uk (aslong as their number is a uk number)
person on the other end usually pays to recieve calls/texts and obviously costs more to texts/call back to the uk.
also sometimes works out cheaper for the person abroad to send messages as multimedia messages i found out.
