How do people rate our chances?
(Lets not take the Japan game in to account, we're better than that!)
Personally I think we will either make the Quarter Final or the Semi Final. I'm being optimistic and voting Semi.
Quarters would be a let down, but I don't think I would be disappointed should we only make the Semis.

I thought we'd already won it
Dont know where we will get to but we'll most likely go out to Germany on penalties with Lampard missing.

I was hoping we'd loose today to let the team know we're not invincible. So I agree that USA will beat us and we'll have it all to do to get second place

Are they? Everytime I've watched them (though I havn't watched them much) they've looked pretty solid, capable of atleast matching us.

Except for a year ago when they won the tinpot Confed Cup they consistently play nobodys and have a high FIFA rank because of this. They are average at best.

Did you just watch them against Japan?
It will be a Germany v Spain final and I couldn't call a winner.

You can't really base how well we will do on warm up games.

Quarter final. If we lose our major players due to suspension or injury then we are really stuffed. Also, how the fuck are we meant to beat Spain etc
We won't win it at all imo.

Qualifiers? Or maybe I'm not basing it on anything. But over the two games we have not seen the lineup/strongest team Capello will put out. When it comes to crunch the boys will be up for it, massive.

Last 16 after stumbling through the group. Good manager, some good players and the rest distinctly average. The Spanish squad, for example, is on an entirely different level. Where England are now deciding between Huddlestone and the likes, Fabregas is a guaranteed 2nd choice for the Spanish.

Huddlestone is nowhere near the XI tbf. More like we're deciding between Gerrard, Lampard, or Barry.
