Went to mod nats on saturday and the weather was a bit of a let down
Heading home on saturday as we only live 30 mins away and my brakes started getting softer and the pedal was hitting the floor, once home i checked under the car and the side exit has munched the brake pipe.
I must of hit a bump and its knocked the side exit into the pipes.
Been quoted £60 by a mechanic who did work for me before to replace the pipe front to back.
good price in peoples opinion?
another place quoted £110+VAT

Seems reasonable price to me, as its a few hours labour.

parts will cost next to nothing as it will just be copper pipe they put on, you will get charged a couple of hours labour for a front to rear brake pipe so price seems fair to me

Wouldnt fancy taking old ones off of another car as at least new ones should last a good ammount of time
