That this plate will arise when the time comes? (2012 of course)

I am waiting for it to come but i know that it will go for MASSIVE MONEY


How much do you think it will set me back + Can i buy this plate before i buy the car incase i dont have the new car to go with it?

Obviously i know i need the new car but i see loads of people buying plates and selling them on eBay so can i buy it and then have it on retention?

You can buy it when it's released in the future as a plate alone and have it on retention. Plates that make up names etc usually go through DVLA auctions.

I'm not sure about the massive money tbh, you might get it as normal on the dvla site when it's released.
