I have it, thought the story was very boring till the last few missions. Trying to get into multiplayer at the moment.

Im stuck at the horse race bit, just cant seem to win, trying to save up to get a better horse but not many missions where i can get decent money from.

Try and stay on the tracks all the time as you run faster then, dont wear your horses energy all the way down.
(Then get some horse pills from a general store if its not a race in a cart/trap)

I use a blonde coloured horse, not sure on the breed. It's fast and the stamina lasts ages.
Can't remember if it's the same breed that McFarlane woman gives you because that one fell off a cliff
Haven't bothered buying one.

The 3 best horses you need to find in the wild before you can buy them (the one you get from the misson with bonney is one), I use the full black one (its the fastest in game i heard), after i got it in the wild i brought the deed for $750

Agree with Danny. I bought it the day after launch, got bored of the totally barren landscape and the random encounters with npc's shooting at me, so sold it to my mate's mum for £30 yesterday. But kept the 800 free MS points I got with it
