I think at the minute ali is upto 90p per kilo. Unsure about other metals.
For a set of the same wheels been weighed in I got about £40 (I think)

another possibility, Scrapping in this way guarantee's instant return on them instead of having them hanging around waiting for the right buyer to come along

scrap yards dont really care about going on sites such as this ebay etc etc to try sell things when they can crush it and send it away.
they prob dont know that 4stud vectra wheels are worth much tbh if they knew that they would have to know the price of everything of every make of vehicle.

Then we wouldn't get the bargains from the scrapyards!

What you have to remember is these scrap yards arent full of car enthusiasts who know what every part is worth.. As far as they are concerned some shitty old Vectra was scrapped..
I've seen a few hundred quid of carbon fibre bonnet smashed to fuck, magnesium wheels just tossed in the scrap pile, cats cut from cars with expensive cat back exhaust systems then the rest just discarded.. They really dont care and if they spent the time caring they'ed not have enough room
