Sold something for £85 and £15 postage.
I got charged to put it on ebay, then charged £4 for paypal and now £8.71 ebay fees. Wtf is the point, so really i havnt made much money

Wont be doing it again.....

what makes me laugh is, they makes you offer pay pal, so they can charge you for using it,

I sold my iphone on there the other day. From the £265 it sold for, ebay and paypal took £40 from me in fees!

Although the fees sound high. For what you are getting it's actually not bad. Try make a website. Drive millions of potential buyers to it every week and you will soon realise it's not actually that bad.

I do agree for 1 item now and again it's a fair chunk. But from a business point of view it's fairly reasonable.

Look, when are people going to realise all this and stop using evilbay, people power FTW. Stop using it, profits go down, company realises, changes fee structures ect

any auction you go to tho chargs you fees, normally around 20% ebay is not that much but at the end of the day its still an auction so why should it be any different?

Should just be one upfront fee to auction/sell item, not fee to list and then another fee upon sale.

I sold some wheels on there for £500, eBay took £50, Paypal took £20. I was very unhappy.
