Looking at some last minute deals for Tunisia, there are no compulsory vaccinations though the following are recommended:

Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Rabies
Typhoid

From what I can gather, without making love with a Camel - I should be safe from HepB and Rabies, and HepA and Typhoid is mainly from contaminated water / food.

Considering I'd be staying at a very commercialised resort, and not going out alot - I'm tempted to risk it.

I'd go for the Jabs, but they're supposed to be taken 4weeks prior to flying - and I'd be looking to go next sunday

Anyone gone away like this before, or am I being a total moron?

My mum and step dad didn't get vaccinated when they went to Tunisia. I'm sure the rabies vaccine is in your tummy and agonising and the Hep B one takes 6 months for the 3 courses (I just had my last one today and can honestly say my arm feels raped).

Edit: I stand corrected, the rabies vaccine isnt in the stomach anymore, it's in the deltoid muscle in the arm now like most other intramuscular injections.

Well if you get hep A/B or rabies or typhoid you may regret not getting them, and in the 1 in a million chance you get all 4 diseases, you're fucked.

The most likely thing that you'll get is sunburn and the runs. Just make sure you don't share any needles when you're out there.
