was going down the motorway last sunday morning and there was somebody on a bridge in a yellow jacket with a camera, but still no speeding ticket, should i prosume it was highway mantinance as thought i would have have the ticket by now?

they can issue them upto 6 months from the offence i think
usually get it within 2 weeks

i have read up on the internet that if it comes after 14 days you dont have to pay it?

most tickets come within a few days ... wouldnt worry about it after a week really.

I saw someone like this above the m6 a few months back, no police car to be seen but I did see that ministry of transport/dvla galaxy knocking about afterwards.. I have a feeling it will be some sort of anpr camera

yeh i was on the m6 too near knutsford, but many people say if you are speeding they catch you and then there is a copper up the mway a bit to pull u over?

So if it was an anpr, more than likely was looking for untaxed/unlicend cars.

yeh, maybe..... i bloody hope so any way!! because if its police doing speed checks i would have thought they would have been with some sort of vehicle as these had no car or anything near them on the bridge

yea i been told they get u on the bridge then there a car on the mway waiting to follow you to pull you up, but nothing followed me

there's one of these often on the dual carriageway not far from me, I've bricked it a few times then realised what it was

yea i been bricking it lol, but thought if it wa a speeding one it would have been here by now! cos i always thought if it wa a speeding one there is a copper up the mway n pulls u over

they have to issue you an NIP within 14days, if they don't your fine,

The NIP has to be issued within 14 days but if it gets lost in the post or you've moved house etc. it can show up when ever it gets to you and still be totally valid.
