You still enjoy them after X amount of years owning them? Thing is I'm going to look at some on friday as I've always wanting one after hiring one in Greece. Looking at a Yamaha (hopefully) Raptor or whatever he has got in. What things would you say to look out for if anything? With the road legal ones, do you guys still go off road?

cheers.

i race quads, off road (well havent been out atol this year due to work and other commitments)

personally, i am not a great fan of road legal quads, but, they are just a toy!!

go for it i say, enjoy it, get bored of it , sell it , thats what everyone i know that has had one has had. they are a good giggle on the road!

Id like one but it would have to be pretty nippy to bother with not taking the car out - like 600 motorbike accelerating standards

mine beats most cars off the line but it's very hard to keep the front end down. I raced a saxo vtr off the lights a while back (sad I know) and nearly flipped it lol I shit my pants still wheelied away from them pretending i ment to do it lol. I've had 75mph out of it dont think it will have much more, perhaps if i ditched the standard exhaust got a breathing mod done and fiddled with the ecu might give it abit more buts its fast enough to be honest

Depends what you determine as 'quick', my mates 660cc Raptor is plenty fast enough.

That Dyas?

Most of the people that have them around here are the muscle gunners... there's a guy with a white one thats extremely loud and he wears a white helmet and white and grey camo.. looks quite good

Aren't fast, unsafe, look shit, make people point and laugh at you.

I don't see the appeal with these in road going form. Off roading a different story.

Very popular with males of the asian persuasion around here and the chavs that think they're tough because they can ride one without a top.
