Hi chaps,
I'm looking for a solution to our mail order needs, I need a new way of recording mail order sales, basically the customer will call us on the phone and we will take their order, address, credit card information and then process the order in terms of taking payment and then sending out the item. Needs to be simple but effective?
And postcode search, there seems to be alot of people offering this but can anyone recommend any? I need to be able to look up a postcode and match it to an address....
Thanks for your time

yeah they do but its not clear what the software is like, I need to be able to install it onto more then one PC (or shared access over the web), updates during the year would be awesome too.
Probably worth mentioning that the mail order app would need to be accessible by two locations by various terminals, so I'm thinking some sort of web app?

Just the small application? Can you install it on aload of PC's without getting bummed?
Currently looking into Royal Mail providing the PAF data, but you would then need to do something with it like chuck it into a database and then write up some code to do the searches.
Found a script for parsing the data into mysql:

Yeah I have it installed on 15 or so machines, and the update is a cd with a patch, just chuck that on the server and get the users to run the patch. Bomb !
