Allrighty folks,
just bought a redtop for my conversion that i am doing on my corsa it has an F15 gearbox mated to it, shall i keep it on or isit worth sourcing a standard F20 box?

f15 doesnt fit dude, do you mean f16

f15 does fit. although if it is on an f15, changing it to an f20 will require the necessay shafts and cv joints, clutch and flywheel.

nope its deffinetly an F15 its got it stamped underneath the gear linkage, a didnt think they did fit to be honest that why a was a bit curious

Ahh so they do fit then?.....has there been many done like this?
Aknow it needs a clutch the friction plate is in a mess but have spare engine n box there with fresh clutch fitted not long ago.

How the fuck do you fit a small block gearbox on a big block? Can you get adapter plates? Surely it wouldn't be much good anyway would just spin all through the rev range

its just the clutch /fly wheel thats different

well iv bin proven wrong there then lol thought small block didnt fit big block
