As some of you know i sold my 04 Corsa 1.8 SRi a few weeks back, well i picked up my new car on Friday. Its a 2004/54 Clio 182. I was looking for a 172, and been really fussy about the spec etc, had to have all the things i wanted, then i spotted this local, went and took a look and snapped it up.
Its in excellent condition, 1 dent on the bonnet where someone has pushed it shut.
Ill let the pics do the talking.
Edit - Only plans i have for now is flat blade wipers, new plates untill private plate goes on, and silvatec bulbs. Other than that, its staying as it is.

Mine had the dent on the bonnet where it had been pushed. You know they did a recall on these cos the shutters on the bonnet were too stiff.

butler it was because the bonnet would randomly open at speed and virtually write the car off, nice cars black is my fav colour for them too

Thats down to the mechanisms seizing.
Make sure to keep them well lubricated fella ! Particularly the release mechanism that is mounted on the bonnet as they are the most common part for seizing, i replaced well into the 100's when i was doing my time at Renault.
They done a recall but also every time a Clio is in for other work the recall should be carried out as well.

Andy - A lot nicer, faster, more comfortable (although the Corsa was on FK's) and handles loads better
Ben, wasnt fussed for the cup packs tbh, aslong as it had digital climate control, and ESP, thats all i wanted, but this has got cruise control aswell and 6 disk changer. Wheels will be getting painted Anthracite like the cup, then maybe later ill stick on a Cup spoiler and Splitter.
