Seen a laptop for sale very cheap. But the Hard drive supposed to be broken. Does any one know where I can find a laptop hard drive, its got to suitable for a compaq armada M700 laptop.

Very fast and relatively cheap.
Think it was £60 for a 30GB laptop HDD.

cheers mate, but they dont sell compaq hard drives.
dam, cant find a compaq hard drive any where

You wont very easily, Compaq can be a right pain in the arse.
They often feck around with firmware too so you have to use their parts 
In all fairness a generic 2.5in laptop HDD should be ok though, certainly worth a bash!

if only you had have put this up a week ago Ive just chucked my old laptop away which was a compaq armada 1700 you poss could have used that hard drive Ill see if i can get it back for you??
