So after cancelling my order and getting a refund with Vodafone due to an apparent 4 week waiting time, DPD just delivered a new iphone 4 to my work even though I cancelled 2 days ago as they apparently had none in stock!
Would they realise if I took out just a sim only deal? I don't want to try it and get stitched up later on.

leave it boxed up for a week or two and see if they notice. Chances are they'll ask for it back....

If you had keep quiet they may not have noticed with the number they are probably shipping.
Mentioning it here with Vodaphone staff was probably not the wisest move.

I wouldn't take notice of what Bubble says, it's mostly hot air anyways. But i agree that it probably wasn't the wisest move in shouting about it on a forum. There can't be too many Chris Barnes in Farnborough

Makes no difference with my name as it was on a business contract originally in the company name, otherwise maybe I would not have posted this.... Anyway I went into Vodafone today and should have my number ported from o2 tomorrow. No mention of being charged for the phone either as it is down on a receipt they gave me as user supplied phone.
