Right I have definately decided to go for the 2.0l turbo conversion into me gsi, I want someone proffesional on here who will carry out the work to a high standard who wont charge me the earth would be very grateful if u could reply hopefully looking for the work to be done in june/july depending on the full price many thanks, Paul

right do u think you can give me some advice mate as I am just wanting to know some prices tonight so I can set me stall out I have just bough tfront karnage and side skirts going to black me windows in 2 weeks time so going to start saving in April. What exactly do I need to get I have looked on pvd and to get the full conversion kit costs 700 quid after this what do I need to get

u need to buy the conversion kit from PVD as this will make the transplant easier

yes I know that mate but what else will I need I have seen something about springs and brakes do I need to do this also is there anything else apart from the kit and a engine

u need to upgrade the springs to handle the weight of the c20let - u need at least 160lb springs

bit of a long story m8, but in the end cossvaux sorted it n the finish product is top drawer

u need:
PVD conversion kit
C20LET engine, ecu, wiring loom (optional but id think worth it, F28 gearbox with PVD 2wd conversion kit)
Uprated brakes, go on mig web, V-Tuning will sort u out a V6 brake kit for £200
Uprated suspension - best is coilovers
then some 1 to fit the engine,ecu,wiring loom and gear box, beardy in manchester does it for £2500, Lee in Kent im not sure

or if u know a mate thats a machanic who fancies his chances av a go

oh yer and a custom exhaust i think, im not sure if the C20LET exhaust manifold fits onto the existing system
