true but when he was first at west ham with paul kitson he was brilliant, and the following season was was top goal scorer with 26 goals, still like him just 4 those 2 years. after that it was downhill. still don't know how we got 7.5 m for him

He used to be ok when he played for my team (Luton Town) then he went up a league and wasnt as good. After that he went round the block a bit and never really looked that good. Maybe with the exception of when he was at west ham. Now he seems to have found some form and scores pretty frequently.

honestly les and defoe are the most promising forward we have had this season, di canion drifts 2 wide most of the time, kanoute is injured and poor, les ges onto the goal kicks and flicks them onto defoe who with his pace is frightning defenses, as seen agaist spurs and everton

i agree defoe is awesome. theres noway you'll keep him if u go down. di canio is going to portsmouth either way i think.
