I don't know a great deal about cars and my girlfriend is looking to change her car with the distance she's travelling to work. She's now getting a diesel and has narrowed it down to two cars.....any positives or negatives would help....
First is an alfa 147 1.9jtd lusso 2003 03 76k £3000
Second is a vw golf gt tdi 2002 51 74k £3350
To me the golf sounds better with being a vw and reliability etc as well as the fiat/alfa reputation.
Just wondered if anyone had any knowledge of either car and could help any more???
Thanks

Definately the golf mate, Alfa's are known to break down a lot and then cost a lot to repair!
