For £2.61 it's not a bad idea. Not sure I'd trust it though.
A reminder for MOT would be handy though, my bike one ran out in April and I didn't realise until yesterday.

A proper reminder from the DVLA/VOSA/Whoever does MOT's through the post a month or so would be much better. They do it for Tax, and Insurance companies do it, so why cant they.
My MOT expired a week before i noticed this year :@

i bet everyone has gone a week or so over at some point so they are a good idea. all the mots are computerised these days so i dont get why they dont do reminders. all the info is there and tbh we pay that much to the bastards it'd be nice for them to spend some money and remind us when it's due.

I think that's quite a smart idea. I don't see why your cars computer can't tell you when your MOT is due these days anyway. I'm guessing there's a bit of a logistics issue with different countries having different systems but nevermind.
