right so update time.....

first things first, some pics of my home made rear strut brace, plan is to get the front done black to match

also i have noticed all the crap in the boot... thats my standard decat downpipe, was supposed to be on the car but me snapping a stud on the turbo and two seized on its going to a garage to get sorted. whilst i was under the car i realised that my car didnt have a cat back but just a back box so a suitable replacement will be on the cards soon i hope. the standard downpipe will be fine for now because im leaning towards a k04 kit as they can be had cheap. heres the decat

todays jobs as follows....

yeah you got it n249 bypass (easyer than it looks tbh) hope its right and a forge split r, got mine set as 16 clicks as im unaware if the cars been mapped but seems fine tbh.
engine could do with a spruce up mind

also, then i made a quick custom cover to hold the coils down

pretty happy today after yesterdays nightmare.

so to do list (evolves each time..)
hids in fogs
uni fm intercooler
gloss black between windows and light smoke rear tints
wot box (have already courtesy of danny lad just needs fitting)
unsilenced middle section from supersprint (ordered)
fix stud on turbo/fit decat (mates doing this while im in greece as of mon ...)
20 mm rear spacers and paint wheels antracite
paint front strut brace gloss black
red forge or similar boost hoses
brembos
rear whiteline arb
some leather fixed buckets and harnesses
full leather rear bench
cd player in dash instead of cassete bit.... amps subs and the likes also
boost gauge
interior leds and no plate leds ect
new no plate light (1 is missing?)
pressed plates
g60 clutch set up
paint rocker cover ect

and at the moment long term is k04 set up......

and as the car stands

also a quick shop of some 1 on here how i want wheels and tints done

Must be the only forum I know where you make a "New Member" thread to introduce yourself and get told "use the search button" It's like an automated reply for those morons.

Nice car btw...I had red one. My happyest day of ownership was watching the new owner drive off in it

Constant EML
Engine mount snapped, caused the cambelt to snag on the PAS master cylinder when engine moved, how the belt didn't go I dont know
Limp mode daily
Handle like a mountain bike with 2 flat tyres
Brakes were shite
The fact every mk4 golf driver thought you was his best friend as you were part of the "VAG" crowed

Looked pretty though. Pics in my garage

not alot really, just took about 40mm off the bottom of it. You could probably get away with using the length of the whole thing as I've seen unmodified Carbonio kits fit as well.
