I had to pay just over £2k to insure my 1.0 when I first passed
Tried the usual things like putting your parent down as named drivers to see if it drops the quotes?

Ford KA's are Grp2 ins.Whats the Corsa's??
I just sold my KA to a guy who had just passed his test and he was paying 900quid.
The GF just switched her insurance from the KA to her 1.0 Corsa and it went up.No joke.

Try Direct Line & eCar.
I don't think mine was that expensive, and it was a 1.2 16v. Was 4 years ago though, might have gone up since.

Try tpft? No point paying over the odds for fully comp when you could buy your self another car with what it's costing.

£2300 for me, shitter innit.
Fully comp tends to be cheaper these days tbh, just man up and pay the bill.

Not a fucking chance I'd do it, they would have to prise the money out of my decaying withered up hands before that happened. 2k on a car worth 1/4 of that, no thanks. Shop around, you will definately find it cheaper.

I got my 12v when I was 19, Lloyds TSB gave me the best quote at £1300 fully comp. It was about £1000 for TPFT.

Could try quinn ? As long as you never need to claim you'll be fine. Just get 3rd party f&t, can't imagine it'd be more than £1200 or so.
