after a few years away from vauxhall i decided to find myself a nice little run around. Found this one with 63000 miles on it in total vauxhall. Car wasnt as immaculate as it was written up as, but non the less its still a great example. Paint wasnt great on it and needs some odds and sods sorting, trim clips etc, but its a great starting point for it to be fantastic again.

So far its had new mats, battery, and gsi badges. also got vauxhall badge for boot but decided not to fit it. Its taken a lot of polishing to get car looking bright again and a very good clean inside and out.

Nice touch that it still has the original spare unused from 1994 in it!!

few pics

Next up i will try and track down some pirelli p600's as fitted when these were new, also looking for an original cd300 headunit from 1994. Will get paintless dent removal done on rear quarter and may fit new mudflaps as old ones i removed due to being tatty, not sure on the mudflaps though!

true say its hard to find one standard and reason im keeping it standard is loads of people who saw it at pvs said the same and it made me realise it would be a shame to modify it due to the rarity of standard ones now

Keep it standard and the same as it was in 1994, you would get respect from everyone in the know. Not just other corsa gurus lol

ive got a 94 gsi, i could have a look at the headunit if wanted....was completly stock then fitted inlet and did the head on it after burst a pipe, now its got rsx spax, building a pretty tuned bike carbed c16, but bodywise it will look stock, even keeping the stock wheels...sleeper ftw.

yep any help with finding this head unit would be great. afaik it was a no cost option from new but think most people would have bought gsi with tape player

after a trip to vauxhall dealer i have bought new front splitter for car to tidy up the front

also the search is over for the elusive head unit, bought for £5 at billing, bought code online for £8.99, bargain. back to standard without it being a useless tape player!

Is this the 1 that had the big write up in last months T.V??Looks nice and original. Also,as hard as it may be,try and keep it original. No Speedlines and lowered etc.Just ruins the standard look.
Paintwork looks a bit shady though, arches etc look a different colour.

if you see photos from pvs the paint was in a whole lot worse state than it is now! its taken a hell of a lot of effort to bring it round but well worth it. rear arches are brighter but considering how it looked before then i'm ok with it!

defo staying standard
