Well after selling my pride and joy I travelled up to Scotland to pick up this beaut. 2004 Leon Cupra R 225. Wanted one for a long time now and so happy to have one! This project won't be as intense as my Corsa one as I need to use it everyday and want to keep it comfortable but we'll see how it goes.
Spec as it stands:
- AP Coilovers
- Full genuine VAG top mount rebuild
- 6000k HID kit
- Ferodo 330mm grooved discs and pads all round
- Jetex cone filter
-Jabbasport heat shield
- Forge 007p recirc valve
- Audi TT front strut brace
- Hughes engineering rear strut brace
- All round medium tints
Cheers for looking! Any comments/thoughts welcome.

I find the exhaust idea the most intriguing. How are you going to sort out the rear bumper?
Lowering 40mm might make the ride more harsh than it already is (very harsh), and also might mean you'll scrape you front bumper and splitter more than usual (which, for me is a lot )
I need my wheels refurbed and front bumper sprayed too, they're a pain to not scuff.
One idea is a remap, something I haven't got done but is supposed to be a must.
you got the best colour

Well, my bodywork chap said he could move the existing lip and re-texture it into the center then smooth over the old hole. So it'll be like the K1's Duno how easy it'll be but I'm gonna have a new cat back system built and then do it.
Have you lowered yours? I know they're stiff as it is but I wana lower it for looks really but dont want it to be too harsh if you get me. Any suggestions mate?

Sounds really cool, would love to see it done! Do it!

Mine is pretty much totally standard
Just got Ferodo DS2000s pads and EBC Ultimax discs.
(I'd recommend DS2500s as had them before, but wanted to save some cash).
I'm also running Goodyear Eagle F1s at the moment but need 2 new ones so might try something different.
I'm not sure about lowering, depends on what you can afford.
Most people recommend changing the top mounts and bearings at the same time.

Yeh Callum is a great lad and the car has been looked after to an amazing standard. Hence why I decided to fly to Scotland then drive it back on a 7 hr journey!

Right I've been making a few plans due to a recent windfall to the tune of £1000
The car is going in next wednesday to have all wheels refurbed and resprayed in Ford Magnum grey metallic with metalflake which is this colour:
Im also having the front bumper resprayed as the laquer is peeling and there're a few chips which make it look untidy. The Brembo's are also having a re-laquer to make them shiny red!
Now I've lasted a few months but the car is being lowered! I was going to go for a set of decent 40mm springs but last night I met up with Adam who has built a monster!
Its on AP coilovers and they dont feel too different to standard comfort which is what I want because its my daily driver. So thats the route I will be going down. Watch this space....

plans.
Defo get new topmounts and bearings, they're notorious for splitting ones on my golf were knackered and it had only done 40,000.

Ahhh another former 206 owner in the shape of Ape! This is certainly a monster indeed!
