possibly in wrong section here but looking for anyone with experience of replacing the (1.6 16v x16xel)engine to a 2.0 16v (x20xev) in a mk4 astra, anyone able to provide a bit of help please post up or u2u, many thanks

need engine, loom, ecu with chip an transponder, box, shafts, drivers side mount and possibly rear gearbox mount and some time to swap it all over

dash loom may need changing also if you want the engine loom to be a simple plug in job, also the 1.6 astra mk4 has fly by wire throttle where as the x20xev doesnt so will need the pedal out of a x20xev donor car along with the fuel tank as the 1.6 doesnt have the fuel return

my 1.6 wasnt fly by wire it was cable throttle and you wont need to change dash loom it will just be a couple of wires like any other conversion
