The scabby M3 rims I took off a few months ago to replace with the CSL's.

Well ive been stripping the laquer off them & at the weekend dropped them off to be polished.

Dont have any before or during pic's, but ive just been sent a pic of the 1st one thats been done :-

Think they've come up well

Did you get that guy off cutters to do them. Or a proper place. Use to have a machine that did it in about 30 mins. Wish I still had it might get one on ebay

Yeah Andy off cutters has them. Think he uses an orbital polisher & 3-4 cutting compounds.

Said it takes about 3hrs a wheel!!

That looks good. Sell on the M3 with them on and sell the CSLs separately. You'll surely get more money? I can't believe you're selling the M3 so soon

Yeah thats what i'll probably do, should be able to get 1100-1200 for the CSL's there only 2 months old & RRP's £1600.

Or if it sells with them on i'll stick these on Ebay, plenty folk looking for them!!

Ive had the M for 16 months now....thats ages isnt it??

Why anyone changes them, even for CSL's or whatever is beyond me. As someone already said, probably the best standard wheels on a car you can get.

Mainly because they fuck up very quickly & need lots of work to be kept good!
