Right I want a daily driver for commuting to work whilst i save up for a jap beast of some description.
I quite like the comedy factor of having a pipe and slippers car with walnut dash but also something under the bonnet that will rape unsuspecting reps in their Audis and BMW's.
I dont care if its brown or gold as well
Running costs are not an issue and the budget is 4k
Criteria as follows :
1) Must be a barge, estate preferable but saloon ok
2) Must look like a sleeper, nothing to outlandish
3) Big displacement, 2.5T (volvo?) , 3.0 straight 6 etc, up to 4.0 V8`s
4) Needs leather
5) As new as possible for the budget
Help me find my arse raping barge of death please fellow CS peeps!

Volvo T5R. My Volvo T5 cost me £1200 and has everything you have listed (including the wooden dash , and heated leather). For £4k you will get a damn good T5R and could easily get a few more bhp to take you up over 330+ within budget

Oh, the only issue is the T5's come with full leather but the R's have leather/alcantra!

I love my pipe and slippers X Type, purely for the comedy, grin factor!
some random old couple walked passed me as I got out of it in town the other Saturday night - designated driver - and they turned around and asked if I was in my Dad's car, cheeky Fuckers!

That is a ridiculous amount of car for the money. (Found that one because it's an estate, they come much cheaper).

colin you are loving the barge hunting! you will want one for yourself soon
I did consider high powered A6`s but I am not sure it fits the sleep criteria and may be mistaken for an RS6 by joe blogg public. You know what they are like "ooh its a big audi it must be fast/invincible etc".
I want to do reps in their 320d's and A4 1.9 tdi's in a brown estate with a walnut dash

I'd snap the lads hand off for that. You could sell that again in a years time with another 50k on it for the same price! If you get a RICA remap on these (T5's are 240bhp/260lb/ft as standard) you'll end up with 300bhp/320lb/ft with an awesome sound track I fucking love mine The sleeper factor makes it a hoot to nail about in, or just cruise about in ridiculous levels of comfort Insurance or me is only £600 with 1 years no claims, 4 years driving, 3 points and an accident.
