Enquiring for a mate, are these as good as they look?
Where can u get them from? They look like a really good bit of kit but again sceptical as I am sure they would be more heard of if so good. xe conversion trend seems to be dying out so maybe they are just not getting the recognition they deserve?

Not if you solder it and cover with conduit(sp). The wires arent on show anyway.

It makes perfect sense imo, no need to cut plugs so you can eaisly sell the loom if you ever want to.
Much better for the home DIY'er, no soldering needed.

Yes but how many posts do you see on here from people doing c20xe conversions and asking for help on the wiring. There is at least one a week.
Fair enough if your happy doing the wiring yourself, as am i, but for a plug and play neat solution for people that are having difficulty with it £40 is a small price to pay.
(plus your scottish so naturally your tight :lol

If they are having problems with the wiring, then they clearly havnt looked hard enough for 1 of the umpteen conversion guides.Quick look on google and it shows up lots of info.If they are bright enough to take on the conversion themselves, then the wiring should be a doddle.
Not tight,just not stupid.

I've already got an XE in that's getting replaced by a supposed 2.1L. I'd do it myself but haven't got the time place or equipment to do it so, yes, I'm getting the guys at the garage next to my work to do it. That way, instead of me fucking about for a a weekend+ in the sloped street it gets done in a shift.
Actually thinking about it though, I've not actually checked to see what sort of loom's on mine - if it has one of these leads, with it being a late setup engine would it fit an early loom?

I could easily do the wiring myself but when spending £1000 on a conversion what's £35 to have the wiring really tidy and easily removable.
Great piece of kit.
