I'm gagging for one of these but don't really want to spend £700 for the 64GB 3G version. May go for a 32GB but must have 3G.
Anyone seen a deal on these anywhere? I know iBart purchased one recently

Do you have an iPhone?
If so just get the Wifi only 16gb(£429) or 32gb(£499) and use your phone as a Wifi hotspot when your out and about.

I too wanted the 3g when I bought mine but went for the 64gb WIFi and use a program called Mywi which creates a hotspot even when iPhone is locked etc. I am so glad I didnt get the 3g and have another data bill as I am usually in a wifi area or the odd time can use my phone. So far I have had it coming upto a month and not once regretted not getting the 3g version.
I havent really found a way to do any work on it apart from emails etc and pages but as a toy/gadget i LOVE it.

AFAIK there isn't one..
Apple are in bed with the major networks, who offer "tethering" as a paid option on their tariff's. If Apple approved an app to be published that allowed un-authorised tethering (which MyWi does), it would seriously fuck off the network companies.

I've got a 16GB wifi and either use my home wireless connection, or my N95 with joikuspot if I'm out.
I know loads of people don't get the point behind them, but I think it's fapping brilliant

Point me to another touchscreen tablet (not phone) manufacturer that can access the net using a sim card then.
Cos I'm sure there aren't any.

X stand for X size, the current one is mini 5, there are bigger ones in the pipeline.
You are correct though, can't buy a bigger one atm.

if you have an iphone, most places now have free wifi, shops, bars, work, etc
tbh, where else would you want to use it?
