Weld the letterbox shut.

Last week when I was off, we got two takeaway menus and a charity bag. It's always the same takeaways too!

Happens a lot more than it used to.

Royal Mail "staff" (e.g. the indoor staff) agreed a deal that we will deliver unlimited amounts of door 2 doors from now on, and we get paid fuck all for them.

So this week we had 5, A blinds leaflet, Directline, Chatsworth house, Pizza Hut, and now they've decided we can deliver charity bags too.

So that's 5 a week from Royal Mail alone (which has the possibility to be more, I believe 6 is their limit for now, but no doubt it'll rise when they realise how much more than can make without paying the delivery staff any extra) Although the ones from RM are bundled into one, making them easier to bin

Then obviously the others as well...

that's a disgrace. it's a waste for starters when the government keep talking bollocks about recycling and being aware of the environment.

i just throw them all in the same bag and take it to the tip and throw it in the ''non recyclables'' section.

absolute joke of a country.

I dont mind the takeaway menus, saves me going and collecting a new one. Don't ever get charity bags or anything like that, a lot of dear homeowner crap and stuff from the theatre at the end of the road, and sky's monthly letter asking me if I want to sign up.

Good plan

The ones we get are always two Indian/Tandoori places that we never go to. The ones we go to we have menus for so don't need any more!

Used to get loads of shit at my old place. Pissed me off to no end and I felt like sawing the fuckers hands off who did it

You'd go on holiday for a week and come back to a letterbox full of leaflets for takeaway, and if that's not enough the bastards would go and jam the same stuff under your door.

I don't even eat takeaway food

I'm sick to death of takeaway leaflets, charity bags (although do come in handy as bin bags) new kitchen and conservatory/double glazing leaflets... I live in a brand new house with no room for a conservatory, stop wasting your time god damn. It's just never ending grrr
