Has this phone been discussed, I did do a search but drew a blank.
I currently have a Iphone 3G and contract is up for renewal next week. I was going to go for a 4 but came to the realisation that I am a victim of apple's marketing machine and I have not even considered the alternative manufacturers on the market
I'll do some reading online for the Evo but geek day m0ngs convince me.

Suppose it all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day, I was considering Blackberrys and did look at the HTC's. Its like getting a Ferrari, you want a yellow or blue one, but we all know you will leave the dealership with a red one!

I used to have a blackberry for work, back in the days when they were a 'business tool'. I was the 1337 one amongst my friends as I could pick up emails from exchange and they could not (pre smart phone era).
Now you see 18 yr old girls with blackberrys thinking they are the bomb in the pub and im like FFS I dont want one now.... Death of the Blackberry imho as soon as it stopped becoming a business tool and a fashion accessory for some dippy 18yr old slut with a tight clunge who cannot even use it properly

Does the samsung use its own OS?
Another alternative was sony erricsons for their 1337 camera abilities but I have gotten use to full on smartphones now and use apps etc extensively.
