looking to get insurance on a car for a few months think the mot is due in about 3 months so will be untill then. will be in my name so that isnt a problem
been having a loook at gocompare.com etc , gettin quoted around 500/600 but i dont really want to pay a deposit of 100-150 when i know im just going to cancel it. also checking out a few insurers they also charge a cancellation fee ( around £50 also).
any reccomendations, best places to call?
any comments would be appricated as i need to get insured on it in the next couple of days

Search for short term insurance companies, there are specialist people out there that do it.
There are two types of short term insurance, the first is a period of 1 to ~30 days, or you can have monthly insurance from 1 to 8 months, which is what you want.
