is it law to have a wageslip?
we are now being made to have ours online only, and they wont send us a physical wageslip?
is this right???

Loads of companies do this. I've never had a physical payslip from my current company and I've been here 3 years.

I dont think its a legality that you have to have an actual payslip, certainly not a physical one anyway. Were switching over to emailing the payslips as its just an unneeded expense and so time consuming printing and delivering them if you have plenty of employees.

as long as you have access to a wageslip via electronic or paper then its legal

Ive always had one but I guess if its online & you can log in & check it if you need to then thats better than it endng up laying about the house!!

I used to work for Hayes Education, the e-mailed my payslips to me as a PDF file. It's the way it should be done in 2010.

We have to go on the Intranet for ours. ave to book our holidays and do all expenses through it aswell.
It's the one thing I think Capita have done well without ballsing it up

this is how mine works, it makes sens to have things computerised in this day and age! if I need pay slips I print them off
