was just wondering as soon as september comes im dropping a 1.6 16v sport in my car and want to put it on the rolling road before i do anything to it and soon as i get some performance parts & an inlet manifold,exhaust manifold ect: i will put it on again just intrested too see the gains really

my mates charge £30 i think, where as i know another place near me charges £47 and another im sure charges £70 just for a power run!!

Best off joining a rolling road day, i paid £30 with mlr at scoobyclinic.

just do what you see on ebay etc. take the factory bhp figure and add on what you think a filter, sunstrip and exhaust tip will be in terms of extra bhp.

get a few people together and see if you can get a discount. my local car club does it regularly and pays 25 quid a run

single run on your average 2wd car we charger £45 on rolling road days it can drop to £25 depending on numbers.

i wouldnt say ripped off to be fair, the cost of a rolling road is high and doing a power run isnt really the most cost effective way of earning money on one.

been at 2 rolling road days and the most ave personally paid was £35 my work is looking into putn one in and the cheapest is about £15 k for a 2wd one but were looking at a 4wd one which is £30k ond were looking at charging ppl £40 for 2 runs which a think is good and depending on the number of groups the cheaper it would be

At the TOTD RR days in South East they charge £35 for 3 runs and a printout.

on a rolling road day we charge similar money, but thats as well be set up to do power run after power urn, hence the lower cost. yes 15k plus running costs, upgrades etc....

also to put price into perspective, our 4wd one when new was in the region of £80k, plus the building for it, plus the cooling fans etc!!!!
