Can any 1 help me got a corsa c20xe n was wounderin wot top speed should be as been told that should go off clock at 140 is this true as I could only get 135 which was at just over 6000 revs in 5th? Engine is standard just a power cap an has f20 gearbox with standard gsi wheels cheers

Speedo will be out anyway, particularly at those speeds.

Me mate has 1 with same set up and it goes off clock not had chance to get side by side with him yet tho, I couldn't get it to limit in 5th it was sat just over 6000 rpm n wouldnt go any further, flys up to 130 the struggles to 135

Best bet would be to either get to a rolling road or a track. The former will allow you to work out where your peak power is available and in conjunction with your gear ratios and rev limit, your theoretical top speed. The latter will allow you to drive fast in relative safety.

Top end runs in a road car and not only risky but also not particularly scientific.

Kk cheers do u no of any rolling roads n how much I'd be looking at for it to be looked at?
