So I am fitting new calipers on the front with braided hoses all round, new pads and discs all round too with some 5.1 fluid as well.

Whats the best sequence to do it? Hoses off, let it all drain out, fit new bits and bobs, fill up and bleed?

Don't tighten the caliber until its been bled so it can seat itself

I would bleed in the normal way, wait till the nice clean fluid comes throught with no bubbles.

might be worth investing in a brake pipe spanner for the union joints, i chewed mine up and had to cut everything off
