If you are going to be on the Mac all day, do you leave the charger in ? Literally if I leave it off, the Mac runs out of battery in what seems only a couple of hours!

Mine lasts approx 8-9 hours off charger, they say you should run it down fully and charge it up fully once a month to calibrate it.

Mines plugged in most of the time really, its probably not very good for it though. It does occasionally get run down completely and charged back up when it happens ha

What would happen if you accidently knock the magnetic lead out without the battery?
Would it just cut out?

What I really should have said is, I'm always knocking the magnetic lead out of mine so this wouldn't be a good idea.
