any way of removing scratches from my windscreen?the idiot that had the car before me put the wipers on when there wasnt any wipers on the arms....resulting in majorly scratched windows

20,000 grit thats like polishing diamonds superfine, 1500 then 2000 then 3000, probably wont come out though depends how deep it is, get a new one

Thats what I use on my screens 20K and spend AGEEESS.. works a treat though.. Also polishes scratches out of Crystal glass

not really sure if it is or not tbh, don't know if technically they will only cover accidental damage or what.
i dont feel that guilty about doing it though because my insurance premium is more then the cost for them to replace the windscreen especially with the 70 quid deposit so im hardly leaving the insurers out of pocket

lake country or county, something like that, do a glass polishing kit, you need a rotary machine polisher for it though

Jus ring the relevant windscreen company who is paired with your insurance company an say u want it replaced we don't care what's wrong with it the insurance companys don't even ask

They can be polished out but you need to ensure you do a large area otherwise you'll get a wet bit when you wipe it because the wiper won't take up the repair.
