Just paid £3.99 on mycarcheck.com and it doesn't say whether there is any outstanding finance on the car, which was the whole idea of me doing the check.

None of the other (cheap) ones do finance. Yet they dont tell you this on the adverts.

mycarcheck is shite, i checked a golf vr6 and it came back clear, checked the same car again on rac and it was a cat c

I thought they insured their information being correct for like £20,000....you should have got more than a refund.

I used the Experian one to HPI my Mini - was about £20 iirc. Good thing I did too as it did have outstanding finance on it which we had to sort

What about that text number? Doesn't that check the HPI?
