dont try to split frozen meat with a steak knife, if you slip it makes a mess and fucking hurts just had my hand and finger glued back together after putting the knife straight through it came straight out the other side just missing nerves and tendons

There was the mentally ill woman who lives in the area I used to, she was sleep waking one night and her mum came down stairs and caught her trying to eat a frozen chicken. True story.

I kind of know what this feels like. After a few beers I decided it'd be a good idea to cut the scented candles down while I was bored, but with a steak knife. To cut a long story short (excuse the pun), the kinfe slipped and went straight through my thumb. A&E

I cut the tips off my ring and middle finger on my right hand with a carving knife; in fairness I was arsing about, but it resulted in me running my hand the full length of the blade cutting my fingers pretty much off - had them stitched back on but still haven't got any real feeling in them!

I once cut the corner of a finger off whilst cutting a sign to size, the knife went straight up the side of the metal ruler.
