After something a little rarer/cooler for around £4500? I've looked at 330ci's etc, but to most they are just going to say " oh you got a BMW" etc. A friend of mine has just got an Audi TT which everyone thinks is amazing, which is really annoying me as its the lowest spec TT I have seen!

Ideas anyone? Been looking at all sorts

Fun and fast, cant be to big engine wise as still 21, it will be used to get to work but that is only a 10 min drive round the corner.

More a good car, but something you don't see a lot of, or something you wouldn't associate a 21 year old driving.

If you shop around you might find an Elise for that sort of money, probably a few reparied CAT C cars out there a few quid over budget..

MX5? Briliant car and for that money you could get a Mk 2 one.

Porsche 944, you could get a late example LUX / Sport for that.

you'll get a good example MX5 for that.

once you get over the "hairdressers car" comments and everyone realizes you've got a two seat rear wheel driver soft top sports car you'll be laughing and they will be jealous when they see you having fun at roundabouts!!

The ONLY reason people buy an MX5 is because it is a brilliant handling car. That completely defeats the purpose thus making it SHIT.
