bought a astra from my work today, 56 plate astra. will be getting it next week as its still to get mot'd and valeted.
on a plus side i found a xp kit for it in the bodyshop that will be getting fitted to it as well. just need to get one of the painters to paint it, he says he will do it for a crate of millers though so happy days.
plans for it are get xp kit fitted, get a set of the penta alloys as the wheels on it are a bit boring, and different headunit so i can play my ipod through it, thinking about buying a tv headunit so i can get sat nav as well.
no pics yet but will take some when im back at work on monday.
its a bit of a pointless thread without pictures but i thought i would share it with you all anyway

just a 1.6 mate. was looking at the 2litre turbo but for the driving i do i didnt really see the point in the extra expense of insurance and running costs.
it actully goes not to bad for a 1.6. cheaper to run than my 1.5 suzuki i have just now, cheaper insurance too.
im looking forward to having a comfy, quiet car for once. think im getting old

hopefully the xp pack should make it look a little more sporty, and if i put the pentas on it as well.
i just wanted something comfier, and a bit more grown up, it was down to a astra, focus or a golf, but all the golfs seem more expensive, and ive never been a fan of fords so went for the astra instead
