I have for sale my engine. Im splitting it as i have a new one

X16XEL head – ported, polished and rebuilt by Philip2, new valves, light skim, x16xe cams and pulleys, x16xe lower inlet, new cam seals, can come with spare caps £150

C16XE bottom end – recent overbore by 0.5mm, new pistons, rods, rings, water pump, big end bearings, main bearings, crank seals, steel breather pipe, £150

F15 gearbox no crunches or whines - £30

Also plenty of 1600 spares.

I can post at your cost or collection from Junction 17 M6.

Dont suppose you have a x14/x16xe sump by any chance? Any pics of the manifold, what make is it?

Nah i only have the one attached to this bottom end and one with a massive hole it in from the last one

Inlet or exhaust?

does the inlet come with all the bolts?and the air intake pipe that attaches to the airbox?also any pics mate?

The exhaust is a foreign make but its excellent quality with good gains and the same style as a Raceland one. It could do with a polish but its still in perfect condition.



Ye the inlet comes with everything including the air sensor and throttle body. The air pipe is taped though around the sensor to make sure its air tight. You get all the bolts and fittings, it will need some new small vacuum hose though as the one that was on it has collapsed. You will also need a piece of vacuum hose for the brake servo as i need to keep that peice. These are cheap and easily available from any motor factors or hose supplier.

Ye you should have mate but you might need a bit extra as you have to extend bits of it.

What would you want for the exhaust manifold posted mate? Definately interested, just might have to pull some strings as mine got mullared last night, and im in diar need of a new one.
