Got the demo off xbox live, plays alright. Its very GTA 1940/50s.

Exactly my thoughts.

However I loved Mafia 1 on the PC, was great, although it ran like dogshit! Much better on the xbox / dont know about PS3.

Played the demo last week, its ok, movement is a bot shite sometimes but it is essentially Gta

Was waiting for reviews as the demo didn't exactly fill me with confidence, it had a decent atmosphere at least.
Eurogamer gave it an absolute arse raping of a review
