anyone ever used exhaust heat wrap? bought some last year at pvs and never got round to doing it. anyone got any tips for wraping it. i have a 50mm x 10metre roll and i have the 4 metal tie wraps aswell just wondered if anyone had any expierence wrapping it like where to start etc. i will be doing it on a standard xe manifold.

i know its not going to make a huge difference but i kind of like the look of it and i already have it.

I wouldn't bother unless it's really needed to shield thing like the fuel tank or exhaust rubbers or what ever, you won't notice any other difference.

tbh if it's an XE in a corsa bay it'll help with keeping engine temps down. I'd be trying it at least.

well that was my thought the radiator it pretty close to the manifold so i would of thought it mite have helped keep temperatures down.

^^yeah i like the look of that. i am going to do it just wondered if anyone had any tips for doing it. also if anyone knows if 50mm x 10metre roll will cover manifold?
