this is probably goin to sound really daft, but somebodys mentioned to me that you can paint a car matt black with a roller? i'm not stupid, just curious lol.

quite popular to paint a car with a roller in america, thick coats and lots of sanding and it can look as good as any paint job.

Guy near me used to paint his old Morris Marina matt black about once a year. Think he used a paint brush though

labour intensive doesnt bother me. think it makes you appreciate the hard work that goes into it. and painted it with a paint brush? what a mad guy. n i will definately post up results.

a 2 door 20k mile nova saloon doesn't deserve to get painted matt black, don't do it!

can't be doin with a red car, don't like them one bit! n i can't afford a full respray, i can get hold of a compressor and all that, but i've never sprayed before!

its lyk a tan/brown. rust isnt bad, jus slight on arches, nothing near as bad as it should be for its age. but for 36k you wouldnt expect alot of it would you?

it shouldn't be terrible no, but if it's been sat outside it could still be pretty rotten, you never know with old cars, although 36k miles is very low for such an old beast
i think matt beige/brown would work well, but that's only if you have to paint it - and do all the door shuts etc so it actually looks half decent lol
