Is it a photoshop file? Should just be a layer on it's own and easy to change.

If it's a JPG or whatever then the 'quickest' way is to highlight the background with the magic wand I guess. Will undoubtedly look shit tho unless you took time round the edges.

the layer should be locked. so duplicate this layer and you can change it how you wish then.
